Definition: Concrete screws, also known as anchor screws or concrete bolts, are designed to quickly, safely, and securely secure a variety of jobs in concrete, cement, brick, cinder blocks, and masonry.
Description: The concrete screw is a double-lead hardened screw with external threads consisting of alternating raised and lowered threads, notches into the thread, and diamond-shaped nail points.
Application: Concrete screws are used without anchors in light and medium applications. When used in concrete, concrete screws can be disassembled and re-driven into the same hole.
Concrete anchoring screws provide self-threading and maximum holding power for anchoring to masonry: electrical junction boxes, wood beams, plywood, exterior insulation, metal baffles, expansion joints, duct strips, gutters, fixtures and thresholds. These screws come in two different head styles: flat head and hexagonal head. Flat head screws have a cross drive style, while hex heads can be slotted or unslotted indented hex head style.

Recommendation: Use a special carbide drill bit to drive the screw into the masonry.
